Two of a Kind Matchmaking — Kelly Johnson, Matchmaker
This Client Matchmaking Contract Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Two of a Kind Matchmaking, owned and operated by Kelly Johnson ("Matchmaker"), and the undersigned Client ("Client").
By signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions contained herein.
The Matchmaker agrees to provide personalized matchmaking services for the Client for a period of four (4) months.
The contract begins once:

If paying by Zelle or Venmo, the Client agrees to first send $5.00 and wait for confirmation from the Matchmaker before sending the remaining balance.
During the four-month contract period, the Matchmaker will introduce the Client to four (4) compatible matches who reasonably meet the Client's stated preferences and relationship goals.
The Client understands that:
The Matchmaker's goal is to provide quality introductions based on compatibility rather than quantity.
The Client understands that the Matchmaker's obligation under this Agreement is to identify and present four (4) qualified matches during the four-month contract period.
Once a qualified match is presented, the Matchmaker's obligation with respect to that introduction has been fulfilled, regardless of whether the Client chooses to accept, decline, postpone, or is otherwise unavailable to attend the date.
If the Client's personal schedule, work obligations, travel, family commitments, illness, or any other circumstance prevents the Client from meeting with one or more presented matches during the contract period, the Client shall not be entitled to any refund, credit, replacement introductions, or extension of the contract.
The Client acknowledges that it is their responsibility to maintain reasonable availability during the contract period in order to participate in the matchmaking process.
To ensure the matchmaking process proceeds efficiently within the four-month contract period, the Client agrees to respond to any proposed introduction within forty-eight (48) hours of being notified by the Matchmaker.
If the Client does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours, the Matchmaker may treat the proposed introduction as declined and may proceed with presenting another qualified match. That introduction will count as one (1) of the four (4) matches included in this Agreement.
The Client acknowledges that delays in responding may limit the Matchmaker's ability to schedule introductions during the contract period. Such delays shall not extend the term of this Agreement or entitle the Client to any refund, credit, additional introductions, or extension of the contract.
The Client understands that matchmaking services involve personal preferences, attraction, timing, and individual choices outside of the Matchmaker's control.
The Matchmaker does not guarantee:
The Matchmaker's role is to facilitate introductions and provide matchmaking guidance. The outcome of any relationship is determined by the individuals involved.
The Client agrees to:
The Client understands that quality feedback is an essential part of the matchmaking process.
The Client agrees to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information throughout the matchmaking process.
The Client understands that successful matchmaking depends upon honest communication and that the Matchmaker relies on information provided by the Client when determining compatibility and selecting potential matches.
The Client agrees not to misrepresent or intentionally withhold material information, including but not limited to:
If the Matchmaker determines, in her reasonable judgment, that the Client has provided false, misleading, or intentionally incomplete information, the Matchmaker reserves the right to immediately terminate this Agreement.
In the event of termination due to client misrepresentation, the Client shall not be entitled to any refund, credit, extension, or additional matchmaking services.
The Client understands that the Matchmaker performs a reasonable review of potential matches based on the information available at the time.
The Matchmaker can evaluate compatibility factors and verify important criteria provided by the Client; however, the Matchmaker cannot fully determine another person's character, intentions, personal history, values, or suitability as a long-term partner.
The Client acknowledges that it is their responsibility to ask thoughtful questions, communicate openly, use good judgment, and independently determine whether a person is a good or bad fit for them.
The Client agrees that the ultimate responsibility for deciding whether to pursue a relationship belongs solely to the Client.
The Client may qualify for a refund equal to 50% of the contract fee ($500) if:
Expressing interest in continuing communication with any introduced match includes, but is not limited to:
Any indication by the Client that they wish to continue getting to know an introduced match immediately voids eligibility for the 50% refund.
The Client's inability or unwillingness to schedule dates due to personal availability, scheduling conflicts, travel, work obligations, or other circumstances shall not create eligibility for any refund.
Two of a Kind Matchmaking is designed exclusively for individuals sincerely seeking a committed, long-term relationship.
This service is not intended as a casual dating or hookup service.
The Client agrees to conduct themselves respectfully and appropriately at all times.
The following behavior is prohibited:
If the Client engages in inappropriate conduct, the Matchmaker may immediately terminate this Agreement.
In such event, no refund will be provided.
The purpose of the first date is to create a comfortable, romantic environment where both individuals can determine if there is a potential connection.
A. Date Setting
The first date will be a romantic evening dinner.
Casual daytime dates are not appropriate for the initial introduction. Additional dates may be more casual if both individuals desire.
B. Date Planning and Payment
The man will pay for the first date and is responsible for selecting the restaurant and making reservations.
He may request suggestions or ideas from the Matchmaker or the woman; however, he is ultimately responsible for planning the date.
The Matchmaker is happy to assist when requested.
C. Presentation
Both individuals should make a genuine effort to look their best and present themselves confidently.
Women are encouraged to arrive with hair and makeup done and wear attire that is classy, feminine, and appropriate for a romantic evening, preferably a dress or skirt.
D. No Discussion of Exes
The Client agrees not to discuss former romantic relationships, ex-partners, or past dating experiences on the first date.
E. No Discussion of Personal Trauma
The first date is not the appropriate time for extensive discussions about personal trauma or unresolved emotional issues.
F. No Discussion of Family Problems
The Client should avoid discussing significant family conflicts or personal family issues during the first date.
G. Positive Dating Experience
The Client agrees that first dates should be authentic, honest, positive, and enjoyable.
The Client understands that dating should be an opportunity to build connection and chemistry, not a replacement for therapy or a setting to process unresolved personal issues.
H. No Photos of Matches — Trust the Process!
Here is a fun one — the Client will not receive photos of their matches prior to the date. Yes, really!
This is intentional and one of the most important parts of the process. So much of what makes a person truly attractive cannot be captured in a photo — the way they laugh, the warmth in their eyes, the energy they bring into a room, the way they make you feel at ease. Mannerisms and energy are magnetic, and a photo simply cannot show you that.
Going in with fresh eyes means going in with an open heart — and that is where real connection happens.
After each date, the Client is encouraged to share feedback with the Matchmaker — what felt right, what sparked something, what they would love to see more of. This is how we get better with every introduction. Four dates, four opportunities to learn, grow, and get closer to finding the one.
If the Client begins seeing one of the introduced matches and no longer wishes to receive additional introductions, the Client must notify the Matchmaker in writing.
This will be considered successful completion of the contract.
No refund will be provided at that time.
If the relationship later ends, a new contract must be signed and a new $1,000 fee paid before additional matchmaking services begin.
If the Client meets someone independently during the contract period and no longer wishes to receive matchmaking services, no refund will be provided.
The Client acknowledges that matchmaking guidance, coaching, advice, and recommendations provided by the Matchmaker may contribute to the Client's improved dating experience and confidence.
The Matchmaker agrees to keep Client information confidential except when necessary to facilitate introductions or when required by law.
The Client agrees to respect the privacy and confidentiality of introduced matches.
The Client understands that all dating involves personal judgment and personal risk.
The Matchmaker is not responsible for the actions, statements, behavior, personal history, decisions, or representations of any introduced individual.
The Client agrees to use reasonable judgment and personal discretion when meeting any introduction.
The Matchmaker reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Client:
No refund will be provided in cases of termination due to Client conduct or violation of this Agreement.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the Client and Two of a Kind Matchmaking.
Any changes or modifications must be made in writing.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Agreement.
I understand that Two of a Kind Matchmaking provides professional introductions and matchmaking guidance but does not guarantee any specific relationship outcome.
I agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
